Holocaust memorial constructed outside residence of far-right German politician

( CNN) Political activists built a replication of Berlin’s Holocaust Memorial outside the dwelling of a far-right German legislator to protest his call for Germany to stop feeling guilty about Nazi atrocities.

The plan was firstly envisioned in the aftermath of Hocke’s controversial Dresden discussion in which he said that Germans were the “only parties in countries around the world who planted a monumental of dishonor in the heart of their uppercase, ” referring to the 2,711 gray-headed obstructs that were first unveiled in Berlin in 2005.

Hocke also said Germany needed to make a “1 80 -degree turn” when recollecting its past and labeled the country’s citizens as “brutally defeated people.” He afterwards described analysi of his observes “a malicious and intentionally denigratory interpretation” of them.
