Last week, the 23 -year-old Saskatchewan law student spoke out about “self-worth and self-love” in an inspiring Instagram pole after being told she was “gaining weight.”
Noting that she was “not as lean as I was when I was 16, 20, or even last year, ” Bearchell said she gained a newfound confidence as soon as she stopped trying to fit into the body type civilization missed her to have.
In a brand-new interrogation with the BBC , the beauty queen — who is currently in the Philippines competing for the entitlement of Miss Universe 2016 — justified she required other women to know it’s okay to be comfortable with their bodies.

Nowadays, the brunette bombshell has eased up on the dieting and “ve never” felt better in her own skin.
In addition to the review from online haters, Bearchell says there is also push from inside the allure pageant — like heads questioning her to take scale selfies had demonstrated that she was losing weight! WTF?
After being crowned Miss Universe Canada, the pageant winner was told she’d have to give up junk food and are in conformity with “the best shape of her life” in order to compete in the worldwide rivalry. But the Canadian stunner didn’t listen, and instead decided to “stick true” to herself!
While beauty pageantries have long been explosion for putting too much increased emphasis on a woman’s waist sizing, Bearchell said that attitude is starting to change.
This is evidenced by this year’s Miss Universe pageantry being hosted by plus width prototype Ashley Graham , who Bearchell named as “one of my biggest inspirations for sharing a body positive letter and celebrating the charm of every woman.”
We love that these miss universe are deterring it real! Read Siera’s original fervent upright( below )!
I was lately expected, “What happened to you? Why have you gained weight? You are forgetting points” This was a reference to my figure of course. While I am first to say I am not as lean as I was when I was 16, 20, or even last year, but I am more confident, capable, prudent, humble and passionate than ever before. As soon as I started to love who I was rather than always trying to fit what I thought society wanted me to be, I gained a whole new line-up of life. This is the side I am trying to bring to the @missuniverse race. The line-up of life that is so rare to find: self-worth and self-love. We always focus on the things we wish we could change rather than enjoying everything we are. #missuniverse #bodydiversity #IMGA photo posted by Siera Bearchell (@ sierabearchell) on Jan 17, 2017 at 10:26 am PST
